One of the first things your visitors see when they arrive at your homepage is the full-width image hero section. We recommend a strong call to action for the heading on top of the hero image. It should be brief and engaging to the visitor. The image behind the call to action should not distract from the message, but rather enhance your message. Stick to more abstract imagery and avoid using images that are too busy, cluttered or low-quality
Above this row of text are the three promo tiles: these image boxes or “tiles” are key jumping off links to the three most important pages, aside from the Home page. Common pages to link to are: About Us, Services, and Contact Us. If you have a blog, there is a section further down that contains one blog excerpt, and is a jumping off point to visit the blog. If you feel you don’t need this section, removing it will not affect the overall page flow, and the page will still be balanced
You can add up to 120 words in this optional row. An example of content you could place here would be an introduction to your business. If the business area or state is important, you could also have a description of the area and how you do business for that area.

Since this section is higher up on the page, it is a good idea to describe a feature of your business that you would like to highlight. Ideas for content include expanding upon your earlier introduction, highlighting a special you are promoting, or a brief summary of your services or products. Use 75 to 100 words, or three sentences in this section. Now that you have the site visitor’s attention, you have the option of using a button as a call to action to click and visit a particular page.
